Powerful Poetry w/ Dan for 3rd-8th graders

July 12th-16th from 1pm-4pm on Zoom.

Cost: $50 (scholarships available)

Get ready for the challenge of writing beautiful and dizzyingly new language! Dan will offer an array of experimental and exciting poetry lessons. Participants will have opportunities to play with language and, if they wish, to also express their feelings about the challenges we have all been facing during the past year.

Especially in these pivotal times, poetry is an essential tool to help us contribute to community conversations, to grow compassion, and to imagine a different kind of future.

Poetry creates a pathway to hope, healing, and human connection. Join Dan for a week of imagination and exploration through language! Please register by July 1st.

Specifically, participants will explore and create in newer genres like infographics and video blogs (vlogs) as well as experiment with new tech-infused versions of traditional genres like nature writing and poetry. Join Crystal for a week of busy building and mega fun creating! Please register by July 1st.
